What is a Camp Card?
The Camp Card Program is a product sale. The product is a plastic card with discount offers. The program is designed to give Scouts an opportunity to earn their way to camp AND earn money to support their units. Since 2007, Councils around the country have utilized this great program and it is now available to you!

How does it work?
The Camp Card is designed to help units fund their way to this year’s camp programs. This is a risk-free opportunity for all Scouts to earn their way to camp and help offset the cost of Scouting programs throughout the year. Each Camp Card will sell for only $5.00 to the general public and will have multiple food, service and entertainment discounts for the consumer to use throughout the year. The participating unit will keep 50% commission from the sale of each Camp Card. Commissions from the sales are encouraged to be applied directly toward sending youth to summer camp programs, although money raised may be used however the unit committee sees fit.

Important Dates
February 23- Camp Card Kickoff at the Scout Office, 7:00pm.
April 17- Camp Scholarship forms due to office (with Registration form)
May 15- Final Turn In of unsold cards and unpaid invoice.

The Rewards!

As previously stated, Camp Cards are sold for $5 to the general public with a 50% commission to units. In addition to 50% commission, Scouts that sell 30-300 Camp Cards will qualify for a “full-ride” scholarship that can be applied to one of RMC’s camping opportunities this summer! There are opportunities for all levels of the Scouting program. This is a great opportunity for Scouts that they won’t want to miss. The table below shows the number of cards needed to qualify for a scholarship.
