If a week is listed as "CLOSED TO NEW UNITS" it means that no new units may reserve that week because it is to close to capacity. Units already registered for that week may add on additional participants on a first come basis to their reservation until the week reaches capacity.

If a week is listed as "CLOSED" it means that the week has reached capacity and is no longer available for new reservations or new participants.

  Camp Reservations and Fees

Reservations can be made by paying a $50 deposit per camper. With this deposit, you are officially locked in for the upcoming summer camp season. Reservations can be made here through the website or through the Estes Scout Service Center. Please call 719-561-1220 to book your week now or you can use this website. Spots always fill fast. 2020 price is $335 for Scouts & $250 for Adults *Reservations are NOT finalized without $50/participant deposit.

The discount deadline works like this..Your envelope must be postmarked on or before April 15th to get the discounted price.   Reserving before April 15th does not give you the discounted must be paid in full to qualify for the discounted price.  You can pay online or call us with a credit card, also.

Weeklong Summer Camp:

Camp Fees with Dining Hall: 

Out of Council Scouts: $310 if paid by April 15th, $335 after April 15th

Out of Council Adults: $250 if paid by April 15th, and low price.

RMC Scouts:  $285 if paid by April 15th, $310 after April 15th

RMC Adults: $200 if paid by April 15th, $250 after April 15th

Highly recommended add-ons:

Whitewater Rafting on the Arkansas River: $50 per person, includes lunch and wetsuit, if cold.  We can take 60 participants.  Make your reservations for this activity now!   It is on a first come, first served basis.  We can run an afternoon session if the morning fills up. 

Advanced Camper Fee (previously "outpost"): $75 per person, includes mountain biking, black rifle powder shooting, local landmarks visits, and more.

Payment Schedule

A $50 per participant non-refundable deposit is due with your reservation form. Suggested installment amounts:

  • The first installment payment of $142.50 per Scout by January 15th. $100.00 for Adults.
  • The second installment payment of $142.50 per Scout by April 15th to qualify for discount. $100.00 for Adults.
  • Full payment of all fees is due by May 1.  A final fee settlement will be made upon arrival at camp for pre-approved late additions. We require fees to be paid prior to your arrival with the exception being pre-approved late additions. The Rocky Mountain Council, BSA reserves the right to release unsecured reservations and underpaid reservations to waiting list units.

Refund policy

The $50/participant reservation fee is non-refundable and is lost if you cancel that individual.
-30 days or more before day 1 of your scheduled week: 100% of payments to date, less $50 per person deposit, is refundable.
-From 16-29 days before day 1 of your scheduled week: 50% of payments to date, less $50 per person deposit, is refundable.
-From 15 days or less before day 1 of your scheduled week: no refund is available unless there has been a documented emergency.
