SISR is the place to be for Boy Scout summer camp in Colorado!Offering an opportunity to go whitewater rafting and many excellent merit badges, SISR is sure to have something for everyone in your unit!

Check out our 2018 Leader Guide!

At 9,000 feet where the air is clear and cool with towering mountains to the south and west you can find San Isabel Scout Ranch.  Beautiful sunrises and hikes that lead to breathtaking views of sweeping vistas of the Colorado high country makes our camp a place for scouts to explore in the outdoors like they never have before.  Natural rock climbing walls, and hiking/mountain biking trails are highlights of an innovative program that takes advantage of our councilors’ unique skills including Music, Inventing, and Model Design and Building.  Your scouts can look forward to camp stories in Tee-pees, cooking fresh fish from a mountain lake, blacksmithing, and then waking up to the coldest polar plunge in the state!  You can look forward to hot showers, and optional adult programs like IOLS training and the ‘Scout Master merit badge’. Our staff is focused on providing scouts with an experience that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives, and there are enough choices for everyone to create different memories.

Every year we work hard to improve and strengthen the program.  With 30% new Merit Badges offered at camp this year, a new low ropes course, and a re-vamped first year program where scouts move around to learn skills in different parts of camp in an exciting hands-on environment there is no doubt that SISR will offer our best program yet.

Check out our new 2018 Program Schedule, and consider attending our Trail to Eagle Week (Week 4), where ten different eagle required badges are offered for scouts to work on.
