SISR is the place to be for Boy Scout summer camp in Colorado!Offering an opportunity to go whitewater rafting and many excellent merit badges, SISR is sure to have something for everyone in your unit!
Located in the Wet Mountains of southern Colorado, San Isabel Scout Ranch is delightfully cool in the summer and offers over a dozen campsites in a breathtaking mountain setting. The scenery is fantastic, with spectacular sunrises over the sweeping vistas of the Colorado high country, and the camp is blessed with a wide variety of wildlife. There are hiking trails, rock climbing cliffs, wilderness camping areas, fishing spots, nature walks, rifle ranges, archery areas, scout craft sites, campfire rings, shooting ranges, and an exhilarating lake! San Isabel offers a wide range of programs for every Scout, from the first time camper to the most experienced, with advancement opportunity for all, from Scout to Eagle. The staff is carefully selected and trained to provide the best Scout camp experience possible.
We know that advancement is an integral part of the Scouting program; with an emphasis on quality instruction, SISR offers an excellent first-year program, a variety of merit badges and awards, as well as activities that will help Scouts to advance through ranks on their way to Eagle.
Our Baden-Powell program (New Scout program) is designed to provide new Scouts with sessions tailored specifically to the first 3 ranks of the Boy Scout program. Scouts can choose the sessions that are most beneficial to them and use other time to work on merit badges.
Our Outpost program offers a chance for older scouts who have already been to summer camp several times before to have a taste of high adventure without having to work on merit badges throughout the week.
Our website is a great tool you can use to learn more about SISR and find all of your necessary documents for camp.
